After decades of building and scaling category-defining medical technologies, Yared now leads Antibes Ventures. He started the firm to provide early-stage medtech founders with what they need most: capital, and straight answers on the hurdles that actually matter.
Yared’s career has been defined by navigating the complex realities of medtech commercialization — specifically reimbursement, market access, regulatory strategy, and public-market execution. Most recently, he was Chairman and CEO of Boston-based Encora Therapeutics, advancing a novel wrist-worn neuromodulation therapy for essential tremor.
Before Encora, he served for seventeen years as CEO of CVRx, guiding the company from its earliest clinical work through a Nasdaq IPO and building the commercial engine for a first-in-kind implantable therapy.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of NAMSA, the medical device industry’s leading research organization. Recognized for his industry leadership, he also served as Chairman of the Board for AdvaMed from 2017 to 2019 and Chairman of the Board of MDIC from 2019 to 2021.
