Early capital for medical device founders.

An early check, and hands-on help from an operator who has taken a medical device company from first-in-human to Nasdaq.

Antibes Ventures is the personal investment vehicle of Nadim Yared.

What we do

First checks, where they matter most.

Antibes Ventures makes first checks in early-stage medical device, diagnostics, and health technology companies. We usually come in at pre-seed or seed, often alongside a lead we trust, and we keep room to follow our best companies into their next round.

Why it's worth taking our money

The check is not the reason to take our money.

The reason is what comes with it. Most medical device companies do not fail because the technology does not work. They fail on the parts that have nothing to do with the science: how the device gets paid for, how it clears the regulatory pathway, and how the first commercial units actually get sold.

We have spent a career on exactly those problems, and that is where we spend our time with founders.

What we bring
What we bring

Operator help on the problems that actually decide outcomes.

01

Reimbursement & market access

Coverage, coding, and payment strategy from day one — the single most underestimated risk in medtech, and the work we know best.

02

Regulatory strategy

510(k), De Novo, PMA, and Breakthrough Device designation — choosing a pathway that matches the evidence you can realistically generate.

03

Commercial launch

First accounts, first reps, the distribution model, and the unit economics that decide whether a launch scales or stalls.

04

The founder's seat

Candid input from a peer who has sat in that seat — not a lecture from a spectator.

“I started Antibes Ventures to back medtech founders the right way: with capital, and with straight answers on the problems that actually matter.” Nadim Yared · Founder, Antibes Ventures
